Electrical engineer for automation (m/f/d)
For IG Automation GmbH we are looking for an Electrical Designer for Automation (m/f/d) at the Bernkastel-Kues or Augsburg office.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Development and realisation of hardware concepts according to customer specifications in close cooperation with other specialist departments Design of electrotechnical concepts in the intralogistics environment
(conveyor technology, overhead conveyors, robotics, travelling systems, factory automation, driverless systems, etc.) Creation of comprehensive electrical documentation, e.g. production documents, parts lists and assembly plans in the E-CAD system EPLAN Selection of components according to technical and economic aspects Carrying out risk assessments and verification of safety functions Participation and documentation of development processes from the idea through the prototype phase to market readiness Creating electrical items and maintaining them in the ERP system
Experience & other qualifications:
Master craftsman / state-certified technician - electrical engineering (m/f/d), completed studies in electrical engineering or comparable training Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering Experience with E-CAD systems Relevant knowledge of the relevant standards in the field of electrical and safety engineering Ability to work in a team Independent work Willingness to occasionally travel globally Confident handling of Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Good written and spoken German skills
Advantageous skills:
Professional experience in the field of electrical design Experience in the E-CAD system EPLAN P8 Knowledge of SAFEXPERT and SISTEMA Familiarity with Siemens automation and drive technology
