Automation engineer or automation technician (m/f/d)

Tasks and responsibilities:

▪ Planning and development of PLC control systems
▪ Development of HMI user interfaces
▪ Integration and parameterisation of the drive technology
▪ Standardisation and maintenance of existing software
▪ Support and implementation of commissioning of our systems in-house and on site at the customer's premises
▪ Carrying out customer training and acceptance tests
▪ Creation of documentation
▪ Error diagnosis and rectification via remote maintenance
▪ Collaboration with our specialist departments and external service providers worldwide

Experience & other qualifications:

▪ Completed university degree or training as a state-certified technician in the field of electrical engineering or automation technology
▪ Relevant professional experience in programming with SIMATIC S7, WinCC and TIA Portal
▪ Experience in the field of drive technology, preferably SEW and Siemens
▪ Confident handling of MS Office
▪ Very good knowledge of German
▪ Independent and solution-orientated way of working
▪ High willingness to travel worldwide

Advantageous skills:

▪ Experience with industrial robots
▪ Experience in the areas of machine integration, MES systems and safety technology
