German Quality in Motion:
Packed in cartons for your end customer

An automated carton packing line is designed specially for the bobbin packaging process, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual labor.
This system performs several integrated functions: erecting cartons, sealing carton bottoms, filling cartons with bobbins, closing the cartons, weighing, and labeling.
Find out how this system works.

Carton filling process
The system begins with a carton magazineholding flat, pre-cut carton blanks.
An automaticcarton erector picks up each flat carton blank and folds it into a rectangular box. This process involves unfolding the sides and securing the shape of the carton. Once the carton is erected, it moves to the bottom sealing station.
In the carton loading area, the boxes are being opened and filled with bobbins. Especially in this step an adjustable gripper head is introduced to align the array of bobbins in the correct dimensions, corresponding to the carton boxes.

After the Carton Closing process , cartons can optionally be strapped to ensure a safe further transport.
Each sealed carton is then conveyed to a weighing station The system checks the weight of each carton to ensure it meets the specified criteria. This helps in quality control, verifying that the correct number of bobbins is packed and that there are no missing or extra items.
After weighing, the carton moves to the labeling station. An automated labeler applies labels to the carton. These labels can include information such as contents, weight, barcodes, and shipping details.
Finally the cartons are packed onto pallets for further transport, for example to the pallet finishing line.
