High-Bay Warehouse or Bale Warehouse with SRU

Our high-bay warehouses are designed for the storage of palletized synthetic fiber bobbins operates with the help of a warehouse management system, short WMS.

The warehouse consists of tall storage racks with multiple levels, providing a high-density storage solution. Each storage location within the racks has a unique address recorded in the WMS.

The infeed of goods to the high-bay warehouse is usually carried out using automatic conveyor lines or, in simple cases, using forklifts.

After being conveyed into the warehouse area, automated storage and retrieval units (SRU), often called stacker cranes, are used to move the pallets from and to the designated storage locations.

A Storage and Retrieval Unit is an automated system designed to efficiently store and retrieve goods within a warehouse or distribution center. It consists of tall storage racks and a mechanized crane or shuttle system that moves horizontally and vertically along the racks.

When goods arrive at the warehouse, they are identified and assigned a storage location, The SRU crane or shuttle picks up the goods and transports them to the designated storage location within the warehouse.

When goods are needed for order fulfillment or other purposes, the warehouse management generates a retrieval request which is received by the SRU and navigates to the specified storage location.

The SRU is controlled by a sophisticated software system that communicates with the WMS.
It continuously updates the WMS with real-time data on the location and status of stored goods.
This ensures accurate inventory management and enables efficient order fulfillment.

Efficiency and Optimization:
By automating storage and retrieval processes, the SRU reduces the need for manual labor and minimizes errors.
It maximizes the use of vertical space within the warehouse, allowing for high-density storage.
The SRU improves overall efficiency and throughput, leading to faster order processing and increased productivity.

Bale Transport and Warehouse

A microfiber bale warehouse is a facility designed specifically for the storage of microfiber bales, which are compressed bundles of synthetic fibers commonly used in various textile industries.

The warehouse comprises racks or shelves suitable for storing microfiber bales. These storage systems are often designed to accommodate the weight and dimensions of the bales.

Conveyors or shuttles are typically used to move and transport the bales into the warehouse area, depending on the size and layout of the facility.

Before being stored in the warehouse area, the bales undergo an inspection to verify the outer geometry. This prevents colissions within the warehouse area and is of great benefit for safety reasons.

In summary, a microfiber bale warehouse serves as a specialized storage facility tailored to the unique requirements of handling and storing microfiber bales, ensuring efficient operations and optimal product management.
